About Me

Currently VP eCommerce at The Tie Bar. I’m responsible for the breadth of our digital business, from technology, customer experience and acquisition/retention marketing.

For the past 15 years, I’ve helped companies large and small build products and teams.

I believe that winning products are the result of teams who have a shared vision, based on true customer insight, that work harmoniously and relentlessly to solve people’s problems.

My life in bullets:

  • Grew up on a corn & soybean farm in Central Illinois (the homepage hero image shows the construction of our barn)
  • Attended the University of Illinois, studied film and nearly followed fellow Illini Roger Ebert’s footsteps as a film critic
  • My first job was as a researcher studying consumer behavior and their relationships with brands at Millward Brown
  • Began product management & marketing career at Cars.com
  • First product hire and executive team member at Signal, a marketing automation SaaS start-up
  • Previously Head of Product at Trunk Club, where I was an early team member influential in the company’s growth and eventual acquisition by Nordstrom
  • Love to build, learn, mentor, run, eat, drink (a great Manhattan) and to have my heart broken by the Chicago Cubs
